Elevate Your Easter Celebrations with Irresistible Toasted Coconut Peanut Butter Brownies and Hershey’s Favorites!

Easter is fast approaching, bringing with it the joyous promise of spring, family gatherings, and of course, an abundance of sweet treats. For many of us, this season is a cherished time filled with traditions, from lively Easter egg hunts to heartwarming family dinners. This year, as I prepare for our annual festivities, which include a grand Easter Egg Hunt and a delicious meal for loved ones, I’m especially excited to infuse our celebrations with an extra touch of sweetness, thanks to the delightful array of candies from The Hershey Company.

Preparing for Easter doesn’t have to be a stressful endeavor. With Hershey’s diverse selection of Easter-themed candies, from classic Hershey’s Kisses chocolates to the iconic Cadbury Crème Eggs Candy, stocking up on basket fillers and baking ingredients becomes an absolute breeze. Their festive range makes it simple to ensure every egg is filled with joy and every dessert table is adorned with irresistible flavors. This convenience frees up precious time, allowing me to focus on creating lasting memories with my family, rather than rushing through holiday preparations.

The Joy of Easter Traditions and Homemade Delights

As my children grow older, the magic of holidays like Easter seems to deepen. Unlike the often-overwhelming hustle and bustle of Christmas, Easter feels inherently more relaxed and joyous. It’s a wonderful opportunity to focus on simple pleasures, meaningful traditions, and creating special moments. One of my favorite traditions is adding a homemade treat to their Easter baskets, crafted with some of their favorite candies. It’s a small gesture that speaks volumes, allowing me to share my passion for baking and add a truly personal touch to their holiday surprises.

There’s something incredibly special about wrapping a freshly baked goodie with colorful ribbons and bows, then nestling it amongst the store-bought delights in an Easter basket. It’s a tangible expression of love and effort, and it’s always met with excited smiles and eager anticipation. These homemade additions become instant favorites, showcasing a blend of familiar comfort and festive innovation that truly captures the spirit of the season. This year, my special creation is an exquisite batch of Toasted Coconut Peanut Butter Brownies, a recipe that perfectly marries the ease of a boxed mix with the irresistible charm of Hershey’s Easter candies.

Toasted Coconut Peanut Butter Brownies: A Festive Easter Dessert

This delightful recipe for Toasted Coconut Peanut Butter Brownies brings together the rich, fudgy goodness of brownies with the beloved flavors of peanut butter and coconut – all elevated by the inclusion of classic Hershey’s Easter treats. For these brownies, I opted for Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs and Hershey’s Solid Milk Chocolate Eggs, chopping them into delightful chunks to be folded into the brownie batter. The result is a surprise in every bite, with creamy peanut butter and smooth milk chocolate melting into the decadent brownie base.

What truly sets these brownies apart for Easter is the final touch: a generous layer of shredded coconut, added during the last few minutes of baking. This allows the coconut to become beautifully toasted, imparting a delicate crunch and a wonderfully aromatic sweetness that complements the rich chocolate and peanut butter flavors perfectly. The vibrant colors of the candy peeking through the brownie, combined with the golden toasted coconut, create a visually appealing dessert that perfectly captures the cheerful and colorful essence of springtime and Easter. These brownies are more than just a dessert; they’re a celebration in every square.

It’s no surprise that these Toasted Coconut Peanut Butter Brownies were an instant hit in our home. They vanished quickly, earning rave reviews from everyone who tried them. The combination of textures and flavors was simply irresistible. And speaking of irresistible, my son had his very first Cadbury Crème Egg Candy recently. I’m not sure why he hadn’t tried one before, but judging by his immediate request for another, it’s safe to say he’s now a fan! These iconic eggs will definitely be making an appearance in future recipes, and I’m quite certain the Easter Bunny will be adding a few to baskets this year.

Beyond the Basket: Crafting Memorable Easter Moments

Easter is a time to go beyond just filling baskets; it’s about creating an experience. Our family loves to organize a grand egg hunt, scattering a vibrant assortment of Hershey’s candies throughout the yard, bringing shrieks of delight from the children. Following the excitement of the hunt, we gather for a special family dinner, a time for sharing stories, laughter, and enjoying delicious food. And, of course, a little touch of homemade goodness in the kids’ baskets, made with their favorite chocolates, adds that extra layer of thoughtfulness.

  • 1 1/2 Cups Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs
  • 1 1/2 Cups Hershey’s Solid Milk Chocolate Eggs
  • 1 Cup Shredded/Shaved Coconut

  3. Gently fold the chopped candy (Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs and Hershey’s Solid Milk Chocolate Eggs) into the prepared brownie batter.
  4. Line a 9×13 inch baking dish with foil or parchment paper, then spray lightly with non-stick cooking spray. Evenly spread the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
