It was solid wood, in remarkably good condition, and even included its original mirror – an absolute steal! The potential for a complete transformation was immediately apparent, and I knew this was the one.

My vision for this Craigslist gem was clear: an elegant, antiqued dresser featuring a rich, natural wood top. This classic combination would bring warmth, character, and much-needed sophistication to our bedroom, moving away from the stark, modern aesthetic we had unintentionally settled into.

Embarking on a furniture restoration project, especially one of this scale, requires patience and attention to detail. The key to a professional-looking finish lies in meticulous preparation. Here’s how I tackled this exciting transformation:
